Start by making a list of what you do not want in your life and start killing things first time. For example, when I took a decision that I wanted more "nutritious" people in my life people have a positive light, people started to appear.

2. Explore working with a coach or mentor – find someone who is qualified to help you explore what could be next. Once you begin to eliminate what you do not want in your life, you will have the new space open for more of what you want. This was an invaluable part of my journey. I refer to my coach that my partner thought. " Someone who can ask me difficult issues and help me rephrase my thought that I could feel my own "personal" of power.

3. Plan your course of renewed life – Once you know that you want to make a commitment to having more of these experiences in your daily life. In my around the wife of success, women create their perfect day filled several measures that allow them to have their own brand of "personal" power.

Acres And Acres Of Diamonds

Author David Bryant notes that the Chinese word for crisis is made up of two characters. One character stands for “danger” and the other stands for “opportunity.” In our lives, sometimes the greatest challenges bring about the greatest opportunities for positive change.

In Hebrew, the word for crisis holds the meaning of a “birthing stool.” In the Old Testament it was a piece of furniture that was used to give aid during the time of labor. One can imagine the pain of childbirth giving way to the elation of a new born baby. Similarly, sometimes the hardest things in life seem to be taking us nowhere. Then suddenly when the labor pains are past we see that in the process of the struggle new life has been breathed into us and we realize we have grown more than we could ever have imagined.

In his classic speech Acres of Diamonds, Russell Conwell shares the true story about an African farmer who sells his farm to hunt for diamonds he had heard rumors of in certain mines. The farmer uses up all of his savings journeying across the continent in search of vast riches. Sadly, his money and friends ran out before he located the treasure and he died bitter, broke and alone.

Fortunately the story does not end there, which is why Russell Conwell was asked to share the lecture more than five thousand times during his own life. The man who bought the farmer’s land was out one day walking his donkey along a stream. There he found a large stone that brightly reflected light. Enjoying the beauty of the rock, he took it home and placed it on his mantel.

Several months passed until one evening a salesman met with the man at the farm. Recognizing the stone for what it was, he asked the farmer if he had seen similar rocks on his walks. When the new farmer asked him why he wanted to know, the salesman told him, “This is a diamond.” The next day the two men anxiously walked out to the stream and found dozens of similar looking stones. In fact, the farm was covered with acres of diamonds.

Unfortunately the original farmer had traveled great distances in search of the very thing that had gone unnoticed under his very own feet. Brian Tracy notes, “The moral of this story was that the old farmer did not realize that diamonds do not look like diamonds in their rough form. They simply look like rocks to the uneducated eye. A diamond must be cut, faceted, polished and set before it looks like the kind of diamond that you see in the jewelry stores.”

Indeed, there are acres of diamonds under your own feet, but they are disguised as something else. There are experiences and talents that are unique to you that can be transformed into something invaluable if you only take time to see them for what they really are. Often the treasures are hidden in our greatest challenges. Too often we simply try to avoid anything that smacks of pain, not realizing that in those moments of difficult labor we are on the verge of giving birth to something incredible if we simply stay the course and allow crisis to be transformed into opportunity.

In fact, one of the most popular sayings is that the secret to success can be summed up in two words: good decisions. But how does one learn to make good decisions? One word: experience. But how do you get experience? Two words: bad decisions.

Unfortunately, the first farmer didn’t learn the lesson life was teaching him and he gave up too soon. Fortunately the second farmer was teachable and he learned an invaluable truth, sometimes life’s greatest treasures are buried beneath ordinary looking things.

Facing a challenge in your life? Learn from your decisions, both good and bad. You are standing on the precipice between danger and opportunity. The choice is really up to you which one you will find. Don’t be took quick to pack up and move, you might just be sitting on acres diamonds.

Winning the Game of Life, 3 Important Steps to Becoming a Winner

/p>

All around us there are people who are winning and people who are losing. When you drive down the street chances are that only 5% of the people you pass along the way are actually winning in the game of life, the other 95% are merely surviving, and some of them are not even doing that. I don’t believe there are winners and losers; I believe that there are people who are winning and people that are losing. Everybody on this planet has the capacity to win at the game of life, whatever their own personal definition of winning is.

Nobody is born losing, each one of us the moment we were born started down the path of being a winner, because we made it from single cell critter to human being, and that is a big deal. Through our formative years though society tends to beat the winner out of us, we are taught that it’s better to “go with the flow” or “stick to the status quo” and mostly we are taught “don’t rock the boat.”

It’s difficult then to change from being a “boat drifter” to being a “boat rocker.” And when you really think about it all the great personalities through history were “boat rockers” and not a one of them is remembered because they “went with the flow.” George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and many of the members of the first Continental Congress were “boat rockers.” Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. refused to “go with the flow” and subsequently changed the entire landscape of the history of the United States. When looking at history it becomes evident that if just one person had made on different decision all of history would be affected. John Adams was offered a position in King George’s regime but instead chose to attend the first Continental Congress and essentially became the voice for secession and independence, had he chosen the royal offer there would have been no continental army formed with George Washington at its head, because John Adams had the courage and wherewithal to put forth that as an option. How different would the history of the United States be if John Adams had made one different choice?

But again, it’s not the huge decisions that end up making the difference, all john Adams did was make a career choice, but that choice ultimately effected millions of people. And it’s choices like that that stem from smaller choices made on a daily basis. Here are a few easy little things you can do each day to move from being a person who is losing to a person who is winning!

1- Read at least 10 minutes in Good Positive Literature Daily

This is paramount, look online and find a list of the great books and read them, if you google “best personal development books” you will find at your fingertips a lifetime’s worth of books to study. My personal favorites are Think and Grow Rich! By Napoleon Hill, As A Man Thinketh by James Allen, The Power Of Intention by Wayne Dyer and The greatest Salesman In The World by Og Mandino

2- Listen to at least 15 minutes of Enriching Audio Programs Daily

I am a musician and I love to listen to music, but for me this has been a huge cornerstone to keeping my mind in a winning mindset, so for me Monday through Friday if I am in my car I am listening to an audio program, when I work out I am listening to an audio program. On the weekends I listen to music. There are literally thousands of great audio programs out there By Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Wayne Dyer, Bob Proctor, Anthony Robbins, and Denis Waitley to name a few. Take some time and listen to what the great teachers of personal development in our time have to share.

3- Do physical exercise for at least 20 minutes 3-4 times a week. Go for a walk, go for a run, do some yoga, or pilates, do anything just make sure you do something! We are leading increasingly sedentary lives, we need to do something to keep our bodies healthy and strong, and while we’re on the topic of health, maybe cut back on the cheeseburgers and fries.

These 3 simple ideas can mold and change your life for the better, if you don’t believe me give it a try for 30 days, essentially all I’m asking is that you devote 50 minutes each day to development of your mindset and your physical health, most people spend three times that amount of time daily just watching television, give up TV for a month and watch your life and attitudes change, and you’ll never go back, I promise.

Again success is a matter of doing the little things on a consistent basis, keep in mind these things and you can unlock the winning potential inside of you.
